Littering is a major pet peeve

To the editor:

I vigorously support every word Joe Sullivan wrote in the littering column. There are not many things that make me angrier, unless it's people who are cruel to animals, dictators like Saddam Hussein and a few other choice peeves that shall remain unnamed.

I've been tempted to confront people when I see them throw trash out of their cars, especially in parking lots. But I figured that might be too dangerous. Also, I didn't want to be arrested for litter rage.

Thanks for Sullivan's articles. They are always well-written and to the point.
