LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: THANKS TO MDA FOR ASSISTANCE IN TIME OF NEED

To the editor:

My family and I just want to say a big thank you for everything the Muscular Dystrophy Association has done for my brother, Donald Hunsaker, and myself.

My brother and I could not have had the care of nurses, doctors and therapists we have had with MDA's help. I have had leg, foot and hand braces which MDA helped pay for. I also benefit from the quarterly support group meetings. My brother had a wheelchair purchased through MDA.

My brother has had muscular dystrophy all his life, and I have been diagnosed with a muscle-wasting disease.

We know that lot of the funds come from the MDA telethon. The people who are so generous in their giving are a great blessing to a lot of children and families like ours.

I could not have done it without my faith in God and the MDA. Thank you.
