LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: JALISA DURHAM NEEDS ALL THE HELP POSSIBLE

To the editor:

I wish to thank the Southeast Missourian for the wonderful article on my niece, Jalisa Durham, the "Make a Wish" child. Jalisa may have been a strang-er to most of the merchants who came forth to help her last week. However, as a result of the positive and dynamic article in the Southeast Missourian, many of the residents of the Cape Girardeau area know of her condition now.

Jalisa's needs are great. Having a lung transplant is both difficult and expensive. Area residents may help our family with Jalisa's medical expenses by contributing to the Jalisa Durham Special Needs Fund at any FirstStar Bank. Thank you for helping Jalisa.
