To the editor:
I was most impressed by many kind words of Missouri Supreme Court Judge Stephen Limbaugh at his excellent praise of the Salvation Army in recognizing volunteers and support groups at their annual civic dinner.
Judge Limbaugh was generous in pointing out the many deeds of kindness received by the Salvation Army and their compassion and patience which they show at all times.
I admire his feeling concerning the strong Christian belief among the Salvation Army and their adherence to the word of God at all times.
Mr. Limbaugh pointed out the Salvation Army is one of the finest organizations, the most needed, and certainly the most depended upon in providing both food and shelter and spiritual guidance.
I thank Judge Limbaugh for his fine tribute and in stressing the fact that without the love, compassion and selflessness of the Salvation Army, it could not fulfill its mission. How completely true.
