To the editor:

After reading the article about the amazing and wonderful pro-life rally that was held in Cape Girardeau Aug. 30, I began to wonder about a few things:

I wonder how anyone who professes to be a Roman Catholic could vote for Bill Clinton.

I wonder how anyone who has young children and worries about drug use could vote for Bill Clinton.

I wonder how anyone who runs a small business and must deal with government regulations and paperwork could vote for Bill Clinton.

I wonder how any married couple who have remained faithful to each other throughout their marriage could vote for Bill Clinton.

I wonder how many people who pick up a regular paycheck and see how much is withheld out of it for federal taxes and Social Security could vote for Bill Clinton.

I wonder how anyone who is concerned about the image of the United States throughout the world could vote for Bill Clinton.

But, most of all, I wonder what will happen to our lovely country if Bill Clinton is elected to a second term.
