To the editor:
This is in regard to the raid made in Sikeston on Saturday. I feel that this was unfair and unjust. The news media claimed that consumers were being ripped off. The only ripping off going on is by the clothing manufacturers that price clothing too high for the average minimum-wage worker. I knew the stuff I was purchasing was not the original stuff, but to me and my family that did not matter. What kind of society are we living in when the government has the right to come in and shut down honest, hardworking people just trying to make a living for themselves? I say let them sell their merchandise.
