LETTERS: GRATEFUL FOR HIGH-CALIBER DOCTORS

To the editor:

Medics are sometimes criticized for their charges and yet overlooked for their successes in treating mankind and the development of health and welfare. Sometimes they are appreciated less than they should be for the skills they have developed. On occasion, we tend to overlook or forget the important contributions of some of these outstanding people in our community.

One of our physicians is Dr. C.R. Talbert Jr. I understand he began his career as a general practitioner, then specialized in cardiology. Having undergone his ministrations on numerous occasions, I have been quite pleased with the results. I, for one, am grateful that we have people of his caliber in our community.
