To the editor:

Thank you, Gladys Woods, for your Dec. 18 letter. I was so happy to see the truth printed. I believe all Christians need to research Christmas thoroughly and read God's word, the Bible, about following the tradition of man and worshipping him in vain.

When Christianity couldn't be done away with, it was incorporated into pagan worship, and most of the world fell into it. We have been deceived. Any time I mention these things to people, they get defensive and say it doesn't matter as long as we are worshipping God. They don't want to hear it, but if you actually read the word of God, it does matter. He plainly says so.

From here we can go into Easter (pagan vernal festival, Eastre, dawn goddess, sunrise services, sun worship) versus Passover (God) and Halloween (worship of Satan). The great deceiver, Satan, has done a tremendous con job on mankind, and a lot of organized religions teach his deceptions.

No matter how these celebrations of worship are excused or explained away by people demanding to keep their traditions, they don't stand up to the word of God, and they never will. Thank you, Gladys, for sharing God's truth.
