In response to the article "A quest for peace": I want to say thank you for your article. I am one of those who began back last year with Bob Polack and Joy Bell. I withdrew for a while this summer as I was in the middle of trying to get my husband to the United States from Iran. He was denied, of course. I have been to the Middle East and stayed for a time. I am also Muslim and a U.S. citizen. I am going to get back into the vigils because I feel there needs to be a presence from the Muslim community -- a presence that is not afraid to get out there and voice opinion. I am very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the Coalition for Peace and Justice. Maybe we did not stop the attack on Iraq, but I feel we all raised concerns within our communities and helped raise questions about the Bush administration and all the lies.
