That is exactly what some folks are doing when they demand health care for everyone. I know that sounds cold, but my wife and I have 10 children between us, and there have been times when we did not have health insurance. ...

To the editor:Would you knock on your neighbor's door and ask for money to take your child with the flu to the doctor? No? That is exactly what some folks are doing when they demand health care for everyone. I know that sounds cold, but my wife and I have 10 children between us, and there have been times when we did not have health insurance. Was it scary? Yes. Did I want taxpayers to foot my doctor bill? No. The Bill of Rights guarantees many things. Universal health care is not one of them. Business owners should have the choice to offer their employees health insurance. If they don't, find another who does.
