The midterm election results demonstrate that Democrat leaders have effectively erased the mistakes of their Republican predecessors, a feat that many thought would take much longer. Both parties and their supporters now realize that no single party has a monopoly on effective policies, but Democrats are now on the outside looking in.

Democracy isn't "at risk." It's alive and well. The populace rose up defiantly against the Democrats' platform through a peaceful demonstration of democracy. We, an informed electorate, replaced failed leadership. If this crop of leaders fails to represent us, then we'll replace them as well.
