To the editor:In response to the article about the Unitarian church in Cape Girardeau, I would like to make these observations.

If Jesus is, in fact, just a prophet, then it makes no difference what we believe, because we will all die in our sins.

Either Jesus is God incarnate, or he is a lunatic and the biggest liar who ever lived.

For the life of me I cannot understand why a man would die the way Jesus did for a lie.

I don't know what Bible Unitarians use or if they use one, but I do know that it is not the same one I use, because my Bible declares over and over that Jesus is God's son, making him deity, not just a prophet, but God himself.

As for universal salvation, there is no such thing.

Not every person who has ever been born or who will be born will go to heaven.

The Bible is clear, stating that there is one way, and one way only, to get to heaven, and that is through Jesus Christ the son of God.

You don't have to believe what I say, but is in the Bible, and if you believe that the Bible is the Word of God, then you must believe what it says.
