Contemporary Christian music singer Aaron Shust will perform at Cape Bible Chapel tonight.
Many recognize songs performed by Shust, though they might not make the initial connection.
A few popular praise anthems he performs include "Cornerstone," "God of Brilliant Lights" and "No One Higher."
But it's more than music when Shust sings. He and his wife have three children, and two experienced significant health problems. But their faith remains and has sustained them through these challenges. Read more about Shust in a story that appeared in Sunday's Southeast Missourian by Adrienne Ross.
Performing along with Shust will be Mikeschair, Nathan Tasker and Lauren Daigle. The concert tour is sponsored by Compassion International.
Tickets may be purchased at Cape Bible Chapel. General admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are on sale for $25.
We hope you consider attending, and we thank the organizers for bringing another great Christian concert to Southeast Missouri.
There are other events on the schedule this weekend, too. Here are three:
* The Southeast Missouri State University football team will play Eastern Illinois at 1 p.m. Saturday in Cape Girardeau.
* Fall Festival is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center and is free to the public.
