The varied day-to-day functions of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce were the work of Robert B. Hendrix, executive director, and Linda Minner, administrative assistant. Here they went over one of the many points of business that crossed their desks each day at the Chamber headquarters at 601 N. Kingshighway. Hendrix, who joined the Chamber staff in 1972, previously had been with the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. Minner, who attended Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University, had been with the Chamber for nine years. (Southeast Missourian archive photo)
