Words, words, words, you may write words, whatever you like a upon a sheet
To give emphasis you may echo again, and oft repeat
Persuading those who would follow your lead
You may write them in books and thesis for folks to read
It is amazing! Repetitive communication really can impress
However there is a great truth I should like to express
A lie is a lie, is a lie, no matter how often it be told.
The truth on the other hand is wisdom that never grows old.
The above poem, written in 1995, received honorable mention in a contest sponsored by "Perspectives," by Iliad Press.
