Spring, Spring, you are a funny thing.

One day you are warm and pretty,

the next day you are cool and chilly.

The flowers drop their heads

and beg for your pity,

then the wind gives a big gush

and blows them, until they look silly.

or short sleeves and pants above my knees.

Then I get a handkerchief

just in time to catch a sneeze.

Now really Spring -- I'm not complaining

as long as you keep your tornadoes at bay.

For when they roll in, that makes for a sad day.

When they come and sweep everything away,

if they don't take your life,

you've got plenty of reasons to pray

and thank God, for another day.
