Taking classes at the center gives you a lot more time to experience the behind-the-scenes action of your career choice. Instead of having a professional person doing that type of job, you get the chance to try the job for yourself. The Broadcast Production course involves working with cameras and learning how to become a director. Being able to use the camera on my own and knowing that I can make a video without being told what to do by a teacher helps me reach a goal.
Our teacher is Randy McWilson, who has had the opportunity to shoot many different videos for people, some of them amazing, like the Travis Lee Band and Skillet.
I like that three-hour blocks at the center allow achievement; there is no time for in one-hour classes. The teachers of these courses make the learning fun, so you can actually enjoy the one you are taking and get something out of it.
