Irene Eaker of Cape Girardeau has received a 35,000-hour Achievement Award from St. Frances Medical Center Auxiliary.
Eaker Has been a volunteer at the medical center since 1977. She received a 25,000-hour plaque in the late 1980s, said Pat Miller, volunteer director at St. Francis Medical Center.
Another top award winner at the October awards ceremony included Margaret "Boots" Staley, who received a 20,000-hour pin.
