David Herbst, a Chaffee farmer, has been named treasurer of the Missouri Soybean Association (MSA) by the MSA Board of Directors.
Herbst has a row-crop soybean operation near Chaffee.
The MSA is made of more than 1,900 soybean farmers across the state. The MSA keeps tabs on issues facing soybean farmers and rural America to legislators at the state and national levels.
The MSA board has 16 volunteer leaders from seven geographical districts in the state.
