NEW BUSINESS ON THE STREET: UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP

JACKSON -- B&B Marine Co., 616 W. Highway 72, is under new ownership.

Wes Bartels and his wife, Brenda, own the company, which sells and services boats, motors and other marine accessories.

Bartels previously operated Jackson Bait & Tackle Shop.

Bartels will keep existing employees -- George Dickerson and Harold "Butch" Bollinger -- at B&B. Bartels will oversee the operation, and Dickerson will be shop manager.

Bartels' daughter, Lori Williams, will be office manager.
