BUSINESS PERSONNEL: DIAMOND-BUYING TRIP

Jayne Ervin, president of Jayson Jewelers in Cape Girardeau, has planned a diamond-buying trip to Belgium.

Ervin, a local diamond importer and member of the Retail Jewelers Organization (RJO), will purchase a number of quality loose diamonds in Antwerp, Belgium.

"The selection of diamonds available to buyers in Antwerp is incredible," said Ervin. "Antwerp is renowned as a the world's diamond capital. You can hand-pick whatever size, color, shape and quality level you want and negotiate for them."
