The Wellness Committee at Noranda Aluminum plant at New Madrid has received the Governor's Award for Fitness and Health in the business and industry category.
Superintendent of Noranda Health Services Kay Keen and Wellness Committee member Mark Hunt accepted the award, presented before the recent Missouri-Oklahoma football game at Columbia.
Missouri Gov. Mel Carnahan presented the award.
