The new business offers Shawnee Seed Company heirloom flower and vegetable seeds, herbal lotions and soaps, gourd art, custom gift packages and other locally crafted garden goods.

The new business is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Thursday through Monday.
The Makanda Boardwalk, located about a mile off Illinois State Route 51 south of Carbondale, includes a number of small businesses.
