BUSINESS MEMO: HOTEL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

A new Drury Inn hotel opened recently in Woodlands Town Center north of Houston.

The new hotel, fourth Drury Inn in the Houston area, is a seven-story structure with 153 rooms. It provides 20 to 25 new jobs to the area.

Drury Inns Inc., headquartered in St. Louis, owns and operates the hotel.

Drury Inns Inc. operates more than 70 Drury Inn, Pear Tree Inn by Drury, Thrifty Inn, Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels in 12 states, including 20 in Texas.
