"Impact of a Major Earthquake" will be the topic at the Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District's annual meeting Thursday at the St. Denis Parish Hall, Highway 61 in Benton.
Anne Elledge, SEMO Center for Earthquake Studies, will be guest speaker at the 6:30 p.m. meeting.
The "Outstanding Conservation Farmer of the Year" will be recognized at the meeting, along with the group's annual poster contest winners.
