BUSINESS MEMO: DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Union Electric recently presented a check to Canal Wood (Missouri Fibre Corp.) as a contribution toward an economic development project at the Southeast Missouri Port Authority. UE has completed construction of a new three-phase electric line and industrial substation to serve the SEMO Port. Another new line will be installed early next year from the Interstate 55 area to the port to serve power requirements of the Missouri Fibre Mill and other customers.
