The SEMO Claims Association has donated $500 to be used by the Cape Girardeau Fire Department for purchase of smoke alarms for low income families and individuals.
Roy Boren, president of SEMO Claims, presented the $500 check to Gene Hindman, Cape Girardeau Fire Chief.
SEMO Claims is involved in insurance claims adjusting and property appraisals.
