BUSINESS MEMO: AMONG '100 BEST'

Two St. Louis-based financial services companies have been ranked among the "100 Best Companies to Work for in America," by Fortune Magazine.

Edward Jones, No. 7 on the list, employs about 15,000 people, including at offices at Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Sikeston. This is the second year for Jones on the list.

A.G. Edwards & Sons, which has a branch office in Cape Girardeau, is No. 37 and was on the list for the fifth time. Edward's has more than 15,500 employees in 670 offices nationwide.
