  • When I was a kid, my buddies and I decided we'd keep walking upstream until we got to the very starting point of Cape LaCroix Creek. As the years went by, I've managed to see every inch of the current creek.

    I didn't realize until I was on the top of the cement plant last fall that there are still some old oxbows on the property that indicated that it did go south of the present outfall.

    Thanks for this account. I'm looking forward to seeing the old Cape LaCroix Creek based on your directions.
