First Baby of the New Year at Southeast Hospital
O.J. and Christa L. Turner of Jackson are the proud parents of Kadence Leanne. She was the first baby to be born at Southeast Hospital this year. Kadence was born at 12:09 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2. She weighed 7 pounds, two ounces, and was 19 ½ inches long. "We're happy to have a healthy baby," says Christa. She and O.J. have two other children, an 8-year-old daughter and a 17-month-old son. "We just went from man-to-man to zone defense," a smiling O.J. observed about now parenting three children...
