Visitation should be parents' decision

To the editor:Those grandparents who bring their adult children to court to allow visitation of their grandchildren have a more vindictive cause in mind than the good of their grandchildren. It is called control. And control over their own adult children. This causes pain and hardship to the adult children as well as their children. This is why adult children will not want their children affected by their parents. It is a cycle of abuse. It comes in many different forms and mostly is verbal, mental anguish, physical and sometime sexual. This is a cycle that has to stop. It will protect the grandchildren and the adult children. Stop the cycle.
