Vintage car tour had great start at Cape rally
To the editor: We have been searching for the right words to express our thanks to the Capaha Car Club, the Downtown Merchants Association and the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce for all the hard work it took to make our day a wonderful experience. We can honestly say that because of those efforts, the Sunday at Cape was the best startup that any tour of vintage cars has had since we have been touring...

We have been searching for the right words to express our thanks to the Capaha Car Club, the Downtown Merchants Association and the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce for all the hard work it took to make our day a wonderful experience. We can honestly say that because of those efforts, the Sunday at Cape was the best startup that any tour of vintage cars has had since we have been touring.
We have received e-mails, phone calls and regular mail ever since the end of the tour stating how enjoyable the day was in Cape. We had over 80 people stay overnight just so that they could spend an extra day in Cape. This is unusual, because on the last day everyone wants to get an early start on the way home.
