To the Editor:

There is a wealth of resources available at our Public Library. I am particularly grateful for the expansion of audio tapes. My work requires a great amount of reading in the religious area. I seldom have times to read a novel or non-fiction works. I also spend a large block of time traveling in my car, which has a tape player.

The library's audio tapes have allowed me to hear books like "The Silence of the Lambs" prior to seeking the movie. I have discovered tapes of radio shows that I listened to as a child. They have a much broader selection of music than I can find on any radio station. Whenever I have needed information from their extensive reference works, I have found their staff to be helpful and information. They have responded pleasantly to my requests whether in person or by phone.

Our Public Library as a media center is a marvelous community asset. Our taxes and our gifts help improve it. However, it is our use of its resources that ultimately allows the library to fulfill its purpose. When you have a need or a question, check with them and, like me, you may discover help that will surprise you.
