To the editor:
How blessed the students of Central Junior High School are to have the opportunity to work under Mike Dumey. He gives more than 100 percent of his time and effort as if he would make the profits of a Broadway production. Mike's profit is in the devotion of his students.
His students got so much more than performing or being a star. They learn to present themselves well. They develop a confidence and maturity that comes from teamwork, and they learn the importance of team support. They develop responsibility, commitment, respect of others and pride in learning how to pick up the pieces and go on to achieve a job well done. In short, they respond to his love and learn everything they will need in life to succeed and have fun at the same time.
Thank you from a grandmother of one of the choir members who was in "Joseph, and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
