Statements show all of one mind

To the editor:

Left-wing groups have increased their pressure on Congress to censure the president as a first step toward demanding impeachment. They reason the president lied to the public and Congress in order to invade Iraq.

They must have forgotten what U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, said: "Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction, which is a threat to countries in the region, and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."

Similar remarks were made by Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.

Are they claiming gullibility? I shudder at the thought.
