YOU DO CENSOR Speak Out. Not long ago I wanted to know if anybody could tell us why those young police officers were leaving Scott City. I never did hear nothing about it, but there is a reason and it isn't the reason they give. Thank you, Speak Out.

YOU ARE PREJUDICED and biased in your Speak Out column. Many a time in your editorials you have criticized Wayne Cryts after the election is all over. You and your so-called family of newspapers have beat that man down to his knees and you do not have no reason to do it. The election is all over and he can't hurt you no more. You are the one thing that has made this a one-party system in this part of the country. Thank you Speak Out.

STEVE BONE IS leaving Cape. Good riddance. His crusade against senior citizens has been going on too long. His reasoning that anyone having a pass will play more golf. A ten year old child can figure that out but why deprive someone old from enjoying a few more years by doubling the cost of passes? Last year, Bone tried to stop senior citizens from using the arena one night a month to dance. Good riddance I say.

IT'S JUST LIKE I said yesterday. KFVS-TV shows the same stuff day after day after day. They ran the earthquake business in the ground. They ran the graduating classes in the ground. Now they're showing these guys over in Vietnam from Illinois and Kentucky and they show the same ones every day saying the same thing every day and I'm sure there must be more people there than just those. So why don't they talk to somebody else or quit it all together. Old Baldy Shane doesn't have much imagination. Thank you.

DEAR SPEAK OUT, I would like to have a couple questions answered if you don't mind. First off, what kind of roses do they have in Memorial Park Cemetery along 61? They were still blooming real nicely recently and they were simply beautiful. I would like to know what kind they were. Also, sometime ago there was an article in the paper about saving newspapers and in January they could be turned in for a free tree if you had 3 ft. of paper. I was wondering, does this apply to people who live in the rural areas near Cape? Thank you.

IN YOUR FRIDAY paper I read where the city is hiring a young lady from Sikeston to be a dare??? officer here in Cape. And also I understand that Chief Boyd said she ranked 4th out of 70 applied people for this position. I was at a city council meeting all before the hiring process took place and I heard him speak, unbeknown to him, about him planning on hiring a lady from Sikeston was a dare???? educated. I think there is something under the table here. He's probably going to deny this but I was there and I heard it and I didn't misunderstand him. Thank you very much. I think an investigation ought to be looked into on this.

CAN YOU TELL us why the mayor doesn't clean his yard up like all the rest of the neighbors? Thank you.

I READ THE other day about the guy who called in about The New Kids On The Block, we have a right to put them down. I also agree definitely, we have a right a put them down and we should put them down because they're just a little kids group. We don't need them around here.
