Show off the students

LOTS OF time the teachers spend their money on decorations for bulletin boards. There are big bulletin boards in each room to display the students' work, not commercial decorations bought from the store. I cringe when I see a decorated bulletin board that the teacher has decorated on her own. I wish the teachers would let the students display their work.

Visitors in Iraq

CAN YOU believe three Democratic congressmen went to Iraq and denounced President Bush and called him deceitful? It doesn't make any difference whether the president is a Democrat or Republican, this is treason. Here they are with a dictator who rules with an iron hand and who has gassed and murdered his own people. They shoot at our reconnaissance planes every day. The citizens of Iraq have no human rights. What kind of reasoning is this? Of course, the three congressmen were chastised by many of their own party when they returned, but can you imagine the boost this gives Saddam Hussein? How do people like this get elected? When will people wake up to vote people into public office with judgment, character and love for our country?
