Don't need to hear this

HOW DO I tell a self-absorbed friend that I do not need her to call me every day to report what's going on in her life and all of her problems? I have a life of my own that I enjoy living, and I'm really becoming disturbed about this.

Photo punishment

I HEARD about the Jackson fireman who found the topless photo on an associate's computer. I wholeheartedly agree with his punishment, but I'd like to know what punishment is planned for the woman who had the photo on her computer to begin with. She shouldn't have that type of material on her computer at work.

Truly wonderful person

HOW SAD that we have lost June Carter Cash. She was truly a wonderful person. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting her and Johnny Cash. We never met two more friendlier, gracious individuals. Thank you for letting us enjoy all those years, June.

Too much exposure

I'M CALLING about the art wall in Scott City that was put up by Paul Schock. I think Schock is doing a good job with old Illmo, which is the east part of Scott City. But I have a complaint. One of the sculpture's is based on a game called "Operation," but it's been changed. I know it's art. But we have a lot of young children. I think that sculpture should have a bikini or something covering it up.

Another way to stop it

THE MAYOR says the River Campus project is divisive and controversial. However, he says the city will not withdraw it's participation in the project. If a lawsuit can't stop the waste of our money, the only way to do it is to circulate a petition to recall the mayor and city council.
