If Republicans wonder who is responsible for the ride of Donald Trump, all they have to do is take a good, hard look in the mirror.
I'm telling you Republican Trump bashers to tread lightly in your criticism of The Donald or he'll run as a third-party candidate and destroy any opportunity you have to regain the White House.
Ironically, just at the time I was finishing up reading Jack Dragoni's denunciation of Donald Trump with his, "By the time this column is published, hopefully, Trump's run for president will just be a bad memory," I turned on the TV and, guess what? Cable channels were engaged in saturated coverage of The Donald, landing in Larrdo, Texas, to "inspect" border security. Mr. Dragoni's hope for Donald's political demise may be deferred for a while, a long while.
Another $75,000 for Ken Dobbins? People like Jay Knudtson perpetuate the myth of the indispensable CEO as a way to soak taxpayers and stockholders. As General Degaulle once said, "The graveyard is full of indispensable men."
According to Investor's Daily, Medicaid expansion is far exceeding what was anticipated and is leading us in the direction of a single-payer system. In other words, Medicare for all. Hallelujah!
Dr. Ken Dobbins did such a great job as SEMO President I have no problem with him remaining as de facto president.
