Outlaw religion

After the abortion clinic bombings of the late '90s, 9/11 and now the Orlando shooting, it is clear religion needs to go. Outlaw religion for the good of all mankind.

Help for students

In regards to the article "Public school students to get dyslexia screenings," most teachers are glad to have a bill to screen for dyslexia! We want more help with our students and want more training on dyslexia! The article quoted several times "teachers would not acknowledge the disability." Please do not blame the teachers. We have been told for several decades by special services and upper administration that dyslexia does not exist, there is no test for it, don't use the word or dismiss the word dyslexia if parents use it. After researching books and sites on dyslexia, I knew it existed, but was never fully trained and the new teacher candidates had never addressed this disability. So kudos to Rep. Kathy Swan and Gov. Jay Nixon for uncovering a true disability and helping our future students.

Time flies

They say time flies when you're having fun. Well if you're like me, time flies when you're getting older. Here we are in July and I haven't done one thing I was saving for summertime. Guess I'll just make a list for autumn.

Good performance

President George W. Bush's Republican appointee as deputy attorney general, now FBI director, James Comey, gave an unprecedented performance on TV the other day, lecturing to but not recommending criminal prosecution of Hillary Clinton. His performance was such that I hereby nominate him for an Emmy.
