"Nunsense" at the River Campus was such a wonderful play. We all had a great time. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Congratulations to everyone involved.
I was sorry to read of the tragic death of Gary Gilbert. I remember when he played basketball for SEMO. He was one of my heroes.
Who do you notify when your neighbors throw their trash along side of their house and the animals tear it up and scatter it all over your yard? Every day I pick up their trash, and there has to be a law in Jackson that would force them to contain their sacks in a closed container.
Speaking of the new construction on William Street, in the late '60s or early '70s was there a gas station where KFC now stands? Maybe Fred Lynch could find some photos of the way it was in the '60s. I remember before the bank there was a church at the corner or William and Sheridan.
Our governor wants to close Cottonwood? What is he thinking? This organization is badly needed here. What are the relatives of the patients going to do if they are sent to St Louis? With the high price of gas a lot of them won't be able to afford the trip. Is this the governor's way of getting revenge because he didn't get his way on the tax bill?
