The City Parks and Recreation Department could put sand there where the old swimming pool used to be in Capaha Park. Haul in sand. Put up a volleyball net for the public. The students would really like it, I think. The students from the university would have something to do.
I'd like to say to the lower-information Democrat voters that I hope you're watching the VA scandal and the horrific conditions that these patients are facing, and realize that this is the very near future that our common medical system has to look forward to. These are the same people running it, the same types of decisions will be made, the same rationed care, the same decisions about who is worthy or wealthy enough to get first service and who has to wait in line. Wow.
I'm calling in response to the person talking about Fred Lynch's blog. Yes, Hardee's is the old Burger Chef. And what was the first store in the Hobby Lobby building? Original Wal-mart. Then they moved out where Big Lots is now, and then built a new store where they're at now. Anyway, just thought that might be an interesting little tidbit.
I was wondering if Jackson has any laws or ordinances against a few things. For example, do you have to mow your lawn maybe once a month? And what about lots that are for sale that have weeds growing two or three feet tall? Shouldn't they be kept up? And is eight months too long to have one of those large trash Dumpsters in your front yard? And then what about cars that park on either side of the street no matter which direction they're going? They just see a place, and they pull up to the right or the left and park. Seems like there ought to be something against that.
