** Don't blame parents

To the caller who thought the parents of the South Carolina shooter should be in jail alongside their son, are you a parent? If so, did you punish yourself every single time your children did something wrong? Because, according to your logic, the parents are just as guilty as the misbehaving offspring. So when your child was rude or didn't do their homework or didn't clean their room, etc., you should have been punished right along with him. How ridiculous! This young man was capable of independent thought, was able to make his own choices, and he did.
