I definitely hope that as election time draws near people will closely look at all the things Donald Trump has stated against a disabled American, judging women by their appearance, the immigration of Muslims and illegal immigrants. I have lived in a state where illegals were brought into the state by the truckloads, packed into inadequate housing and put into jobs with inadequate safety regulations and without regard for human rights. ...
Look closely
I definitely hope that as election time draws near people will closely look at all the things Donald Trump has stated against a disabled American, judging women by their appearance, the immigration of Muslims and illegal immigrants. I have lived in a state where illegals were brought into the state by the truckloads, packed into inadequate housing and put into jobs with inadequate safety regulations and without regard for human rights. Instead of looking at illegals perhaps we should give an in-depth look at the practices of those who employ illegals. Think clearly with your minds and not your emotions when voting. I know I, for one, could not cast a vote for Donald Trump.
Trump's positions
Donald Trump now favors raising taxes on the rich and raising the minimum wage. Now, if he'll just change positions on deporting 11 million illegals, banning all Muslims from coming to this country and building that wall, we'll be getting somewhere.
Liberals' motivation
One thing Hillary Clinton's presumed nomination has made crystal clear is that the Democrat party was never made up of ideologically principled progressives. Liberal people were (are) those who are motivated primarily by anger and frustration, said anger consisting of raging against the machine in Washington. Thus, Bernie Sanders is a perfect fit for these folks, but the political status quo will continue to stifle any hope of true, liberal change.
Bathroom issue
What many people and the LGBT community don't realize is that people are not worried about them in bathrooms. It's the people who will take advantage of the situation.

The Golden Rule
Everybody deserves to be treated with respect. It is called the Golden Rule for a reason.
Obama approval
President Obama's approval rating jumped 3 points to 53 percent, a week after Donald Trump's presumed presidential nomination. It's the president's highest approval number since he was reelected. Little wonder.
Affordable child care
I was very moved by Bridget Brown's front page story about what to me more than implied a desperate need for affordable child care for all working class parents. Just such a program has been outlined in great detail by our next president, Hillary Clinton.
G.I. Bill
Don't be too hard on Donald Trump for this one. Frankly, I don't blame him for not knowing. I always thought it referred to a guy named Bill who was suffering from gastrointestinal distress, and so I don't have the right to blame Donald for not knowing what is meant by what has apparently been deemed for a long time the G.I. Bill.
