Show Me Center. Please think about putting hand rails down the aisles between the seats. I go to the basketball games. Lots of people have to hold onto the seats to go up and down. The young people don't support the games. It is the older people. So please think about some rails to hold onto...

Kudos to city
City crews: Once again, great job on our streets in Cape Girardeau. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Got to my doctor's appointment with no problem.
Sneaky Democrats
I guess the Dems are pretty smart. They say climate change now instead of global warming, that way if it gets colder they will still be right. Those sneaky Dems.
Reagan, Obama
Reagan's motto was "Peace through strength." Obama's motto is "Weakness through bluster." Obama and his lap dog Biden think that they can slow down our enemies with mountains of tough-talking rhetoric. The problem is that our enemies see through all the bluster and clearly see what weak thoughtless leadership the U.S. has. How have we sunk so low? How have the American people elected these unknowing, uncaring people twice? They focus all of their energy on taking from the rich and giving to the poor so that the poor will vote them into office. Are mainstream Americans really this blind? It would seem so.

Leadership void
Prediction: If Putin decides to invade Florida, President Obama will warn him in his deepest sternest voice that, "There will be consequences." Of course there will be consequences, the first of which will be that Putin will invade Georgia and Alabama. Then our feckless, oops, I mean fearless, leader will sternly warn Putin that he had better not invade Tennessee because, "there will be consequences." Like all liberals, Obama thinks that his lofty words actually mean something. For the millions of people who really did like their insurance plan, they know just how much the president's word means. Putin will do whatever he wants and the U.S. under Obama's (lack of) leadership will do absolutely nothing.
Empty talk
America should only spend enough money on defense to protect America. Also, "foreign aid" paid out by America is ludicrous. Why pay foreign countries to kill American soldiers at war, like Afghanistan or Pakistan? America cannot go on being the entire world's "911 emergency call." It does not work. And last, empty threats by the president are useless. The last to Russia would be the fourth. The "Red Line" threats already made did nothing.
Welfare state
So much for Paul Ryan's critique of the welfare state. The data clearly shows that poor people living in welfare states like Canada or Sweden are much more likely to make it into the middle class than the U.S. poor.
Smoking policies
SEMO shouldn't do anything to its smoking policy. Tobacco is not illegal and people smoke outdoors! A college campus is an area for adults, and they are free to make their own choices. SEMO is also a public institution and cannot regulate its campus like a private company can. We have enough to worry about besides some tobacco smoke outside. Please mind your own business and let people make their own choices.
