Double standard

I DON'T understand the chop-logic of Republican thinking. When Bill Emerson died, it was perfectly acceptable for Mrs. Emerson to fill her husband's place. Now that Mrs. Carnahan is carrying on her husband's legacy, it is the inappropriate thing to do. Some of you are so crass as to question her grieving process. This is a further example of the family values which you Republicans love to tout. My vote is for Carnahan.
