On Thanksgiving morning I witnessed a good deed that restored my faith in humanity. I was at a local convenience store. A customer drove up to the entrance but left his truck without putting it in park. Another customer was leaving and saw the truck start to roll backward. He jumped out of his truck, ran over and held the truck. Although the weight of the truck almost had him parallel to the ground, he continued to hold it until the owner saw what was happening and ran out. He risked injury but helped a stranger.
