Yes, I think the state needs to do a better job as far as Medicaid/Medicare providing eyeglasses for people. A $69 frame is not suitable. I don't understand why Medicaid/Medicare people cannot get a $79 or $89 frame. Recently, my son got a $69 pair provided by the government, and the lens won't even stay in the glasses. Please contact your legislators and tell them to up it to $79 or $89 frame, because, you know, we don't need our poor walking around looking like they're destitute. We need to care as a society.
In previous years the county IT department would have election results posted on its website within 15 minutes of the polls closing. Election night they didn't post the results until an hour after the polls closed. This is yet another example that the ever-increasing taxes over at the county administration building do not result in better service.
In light of the election results, conservative talk show hosts are going to have to shift gears again and stop their ongoing observations about low-information voters and the implied ignorance of the American voter and once again start praising the collective wisdom of the American people.
Yes, that program that Obama had, "Get out the vote," well, looks like it worked pretty good, because now they came out and voted him out.
