THANK you very much for posting that they found my blue purse at the Jackson Walmart Saturday afternoon. I believe in God, and I believe in angels. You are an angel. Thank you very much again.
ABSOLUTELY no to urban deer hunting. It is rare to kill a deer with one arrow. If they are hit, they will panic and run for miles through yards doing damage, and yes, on playgrounds and your child. We may be causing more harm than good.
PERHAPS the Postal Service needs to get its priorities straight. I mean, the Jackson post office had the exterior painted pink. Now come on, get real. If you are going broke, get your priorities straight and things might not look so bad.
I have a question. When you have a complaint to file against an organization, such as the unemployment division, whom do you contact to make that complaint? I've been trying to call unemployment and all I get is, "Our call lines are full, please call back Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m." I've tried it on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I have even tried it on the Monday that's not a national holiday.
PLEASE, do not allow deer hunting within the city limits. This would not only be potentially very dangerous to citizens but would destroy one of the most beautiful opportunities to see wildlife here in Cape Girardeau. There has to be a better way to deter the deer from getting into people's yards and causing damage. Keep deer hunting where it belongs, in the woods outside the city.
THESE geniuses calling for higher corporate taxes don't realize that they are the ones that eventually pay that tax. Taxes are part of businesses' overhead. Raise their taxes, they raise their price to the consumer.
