ONE OF the problems with airlines is the liquor they serve on the flights. They should not sell the stuff at the airport or on the flights. Not welcome THIS IS a comment on Jerry Falwell coming to this area. I am embarrassed for the people who are looking forward to his visit. He is the antithesis of Christianity. As far as I am concerned, he is not a welcome guest here...

Not welcome

Driving to the left

TO ALL the people who say Missouri has a state law that says drive in the right lane unless you're passing, I just want you to realize that law is only for the interstate. If you're driving between Sikeston and Poplar Bluff on U.S. 60, that's a divided highway with roads going off to the left. You are allowed to drive in the left lane even if you're not passing. The same goes for Kingshighway through Cape. If you're going 20 mph and you're in the left lane, there's nothing the police will do to you. It's your legal right to drive in the left lane.

Talented students

THE ART exhibit at the college museum showing the surrounding high school art students' talent was wonderful. I'm so proud of our high school art students.
